🌍 WICC Walks The World 🌍

Here at Workplace Interiors Co, we’re coming together as a team to take on a huge challenge; to walk the equivalent distance around the circumference of the world before the end of the year!

But… why are we doing it?

We wanted to create a challenge that gets everyone involved, encourages us all to move a little more, and most importantly, helps raise money for the four amazing charities we are supporting this year. Each year, our employees nominate charities they would like to support through fundraising and volunteering opportunities, which is how we selected our four chosen charities for 2026.
Our chosen charities this year are Maggies Cheltenham, Honour Thy Woman Group, Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospitals Charity & Cheltenham Animal Shelter! Check out their bios to learn more about them all!

Throughout the challenge, we’ll be sharing regular updates on our progress as we work towards an incredible 24,901 miles.
First stop: Paris

How does it work?
Each member of staff has been given a WICC pedometer. Between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Friday, all steps recorded will count towards our team total.
On average 1 mile = 2,100 steps which means together, we’ll be aiming to reach a massive 52 million steps by the end of the challenge!
