150 Miles. 5 Days. One Purpose.

This June, I’m taking on a 150‑mile ultra‑distance running challenge over 5 consecutive days — running 30 miles a day — to raise awareness and vital funds for two incredible charities:
Hft – supporting adults with learning disabilities to live with greater independence, dignity, and opportunity
Early Lives – supporting babies, young children, and families to give every child the best possible start in life. . Over five consecutive days, I’ll be running 150 miles, connecting multiple Hft locations along the route. It’s a test of endurance, resilience, and determination — physically and mentally.
Running changed my life.
I’m 46 years old and have been running for over 22 years, ever since losing eight stone in 2004. What started as a personal transformation quickly became a passion — and over the last decade, a way of giving back.
I’ve spent more than 10 years fundraising through running, completing 100+ marathons and numerous ultra‑distance events. In 2025 alone, I ran 17 ultra marathons, including a 4th‑place finish in my first ever 50‑mile race.
But after a year like that, I wanted my next challenge to be about more than the miles.
This challenge is about using something that changed my life to help support people at critical moments in theirs — whether that’s adults with learning disabilities building independence, or children and families getting the support they need early in life.
