Canbury School Sponsored Walk 2026

We are dedicating our school sponsored walk this year to the memory of Josie Bate, our much-loved former Pastoral Assistant who  recently passed away following a year-long battle with brain cancer.

Josie was a vital part of our school family for many years. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of our students left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

To lose such a vibrant and caring colleague leaves a profound sadness for us all, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies continue to be with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Josie's family have chosen two charities to support with our fundraising, and the money raised will be split evenly between Princess Alice Hospice and Maggie's.

We are looking forward to our walk, which is always a wonderful community day together.
