We’re taking on 160km to help end digital poverty
Lindsay Haselhurst, Brad Gould, Conor Hickey, Conrad Evans, Craig Maddock, Dudley Hopkins, Genie Mackle, Jenny Luker, Louise Withers, Becky Lewis-Borman, Ryan Den Rooijen, Simon Boss, Steve Pendleton, Steve Wale and Tomasz Mazur will be pushing themselves to take on a 160km relay as part of the West Team, walking, jogging and running from Wrexham to Wednesbury J9.
This isn’t just a physical challenge – it’s about helping people get access to the digital tools and skills they need to thrive.
We’re raising money for the Digital Poverty Alliance (DPA), a charity working to end digital exclusion across the UK.
Why we’re supporting the Digital Poverty Alliance
At Currys, we believe access to technology isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity. Being digitally connected can open doors to education, employment, healthcare and staying connected with loved ones.
That’s why Currys proudly supports the Digital Poverty Alliance. Together, we’re helping people who are digitally excluded gain access to:
• Devices they can rely on
• The skills and confidence to use technology safely and effectively
Digital poverty shouldn’t be a barrier to opportunity – and through this partnership, we’re working to break that cycle.
The difference your donation will make
Every pound raised will help the Digital Poverty Alliance:
• Put devices into the hands of those who need them most
• Support digital skills programmes for individuals and families
• Help more people stay connected to essential services and opportunities
By supporting our 160km relay challenge, you’re helping to give people the tools they need to participate fully in modern life.
Thank you for cheering us on – and for giving whatever you can to help end digital poverty. 💙
