Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire - Council Charity Football Match

In Nottinghamshire County Council’s annual charity football match, this year’s fixture sees the team take on Derbyshire County Council, in what promises to be a fun-filled day out.

This event isn’t just about football, it’s about making a real difference. All funds raised will go towards supporting two fantastic charities:

- Pulp Friction – A Nottinghamshire-based charity that empowers adults with learning disabilities by providing work experience, training, and opportunities through their social enterprise cafés. Their work helps build confidence, independence, and valuable life skills.

- Ashgate Hospice – A vital charity providing compassionate palliative and end-of-life care to patients and their families across North Derbyshire. They offer essential support during some of life’s most challenging times.

Join us for a great day of football, community spirit, and fundraising - every donation helps these incredible organisations continue their life-changing work.

- Sunday 31st May 2026, 2pm kick off at Ilkeston Town FC (https://ilkestontownfc.co.uk/)
- Bar & food available on the day – all visitors are welcome!
- Raffle with amazing prizes on the day.
- All proceeds to be split equally between our chosen charities.
