Aberdeen Runway Run 2026

Back for another unforgettable year, the Aberdeen Runway Run returns for 2026! ✈️

This unique midnight challenge will take place on Saturday, 20th June 2026, where participants will take on a 4km course along the fully illuminated international runway at Aberdeen International Airport. It remains one of the most distinctive running experiences anywhere in the UK — a course like no other!

After the tremendous success of 2025, we’re aiming even higher this year as we raise vital funds for two fantastic charities.
We, CHC Helicopters and Aberdeen International Airport, are proud to continue our partnership in bringing this special event to the runway once again.

This year, the Aberdeen Runway Run will support:

SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health)
Lifestars

Both organisations do remarkable work supporting people and families across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and the wider North East.

New for 2026 – 30% of your own fundraising can go to your chosen charity!

For the first time, runners will also have the chance to support a charity of their own choice through GiveWheel.

➡️ 30% of each runner’s fundraising total can now go directly to a charity they personally select — giving even greater meaning to every mile on the runway.

When you Join this series you'll be asked to allocate a charity for 30% of your fundraising! Doing this allows you to support a cause close to you and for us to track our runners fundraising!
