NLC Mayor's Appeal Fund

As part of my new role as the Mayor of North Lincolnshire Council I have chosen to raise money for two local charities that are close to my heart and that provide such vital help to residents across the community.

Cancer touches so many lives – so to be able to support Macmillan Cancer Support Scunthorpe , which provide support to people at a time when they need it the most is something I feel privileged to do.

Jen’s Special Place is a bereavement support charity, for children and young people aged 4-17years of age in our local area. As a child or a young person losing a parent or a loved one can have a massive impact. Jen’s Special Place offer vital support and a safe place, where children and young people can access the help they need, at a difficult time in their life.
