Alex’s 100mile bike ride

🚴‍♂️ BIG CHALLENGE. BIG HEART. BIG CAUSE. 🚴‍♂️

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my fundraiser page — it truly means a lot 💙

This time, I’m pushing myself further than ever before… I’m doubling my previous distance and taking on a HUGE challenge:
👉 Cycling from home to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and back
👉 All within 24 hours!

A few years ago, I completed 51 miles — but this time, I’m aiming for OVER 100 miles! 🚴‍♀️💪
It’s going to take serious training, determination, and a lot of grit… but it’s nothing compared to what these incredible charities do every single day.

💙 I will never be able to fully thank Alder Hey for the support they gave me and my family.

❤️ I’m also raising money for two other charities that are now very close to my heart:
• St Luke’s Hospice
• Royal British Legion

These organisations provide vital care, compassion, and support when people need it most — and I want to give something back.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a vast range of support from end-of-life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to assisting patients to return to work after an illness.
