Team Isaac: 150 miles for little lives - Children's Trust Tadworth to Birmingham Children's Hospital

150 Miles. One Very Strong Little Boy.
In May, we will be taking on a challenge that is both physically demanding and deeply personal to us—running (and almost definitely some walking) 150 miles, door to door, from The Children’s Trust in Tadworth to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
This journey is our way of saying thank you.
Last year, our grandson faced an incredibly difficult start to life. He showed strength far beyond his years—truly a very strong little boy. During that time, both The Children’s Trust and Birmingham Children’s Hospital provided outstanding care, treatment, and therapy that made a life-changing difference not only to him, but to our whole family.
We will never forget the dedication, compassion, and expertise of the teams who supported him through such a challenging time.
Now, we want to give something back.
By running 150 miles between these two remarkable organisations, we hope to raise funds to support the vital work they do every day—helping children like our grandson receive the care, rehabilitation, and hope they need to thrive.
This won’t be easy. There will be long days, tired legs, and moments where we’ll need to dig deep—but it will be nothing compared to what so many children and families go through.
Every mile we run is for him.
Every step is a thank you.
And every donation, no matter how small, will help these incredible charities continue their life-changing work.
If you’re able to support us, we would be hugely grateful.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
