Diverse Abilities Cardboard Camp Out

Will you sponsor the brave volunteers who will brave a night outside to help prevent housing crisis amongst families with disabilities.

Through sleeping in a cardboard shelter overnight this autumn participants will raise funds to improve the lives of many people with disabilities in Dorset who are facing hardship, housing crisis and even homelessness.

Did you know that 44% of disabled young adults are living in poverty and 75% of unpaid carers report worsening mental health due to financial pressure and stress.

Any sponsorship raised will be shared between Diverse Abilities and YMCA Bournemouth, with 80% supporting Dorset charity Diverse Abilities and their advice service, which helps over 1,000 with disabilities who face these hardships in our local community every single year.
