Leeds to Liverpool Paddle
13903
On May 4th I will be attempting to paddleboard the entire Leeds to Liverpool Canal, around 150 miles over multiple days.
I am doing this in memory of my dad, who died suddenly from a cardiac arrest.
Losing someone you love without warning changes everything. Grief doesn’t follow a straight path. Some days feel manageable, and others feel overwhelming. This challenge is my way of moving forward while carrying that loss with me — turning pain into purpose.
Throughout the journey I will be sharing honest updates about the physical and emotional reality of the challenge, while also raising awareness about cardiac arrest. When cardiac arrest happens, every second counts. Knowing how to recognise it, start CPR and locate a defibrillator can make the difference between life and death.
By supporting this challenge, you are not just helping me reach Liverpool, you are helping to start conversations, spread awareness and potentially save lives.
Every mile will be dedicated to my dad and to everyone affected by cardiac arrest.
If you are able to donate, share or simply follow the journey, it genuinely means more than I can put into words.
