The Road That Brought Us Here

This year, we’re setting out on a journey that means far more than the miles we'll cover.

In just a few days, we'll begin walking almost 150 miles from The Bluebird Boutique in Stanhope, County Durham, to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Our destination may be Murrayfield, but our purpose reaches far beyond it.

We've named our challenge The Road That Brought Us Here, because every one of us has a road that has shaped who we are. Some have been easy, others have tested us, but every one has led us to this moment. This walk is our way of honouring those journeys, our friendships, and the communities that help us keep moving forward.

Like so many people, we've experienced times when life has felt overwhelming, when the way forward wasn't obvious, and when simply putting one foot in front of the other took courage.

This walk is deeply personal to all of us. For all of us, there have been chapters in our lives where we could never have imagined that we'd be standing here preparing to walk almost 150 miles. Life has changed us in ways we never expected, and this journey is our way of giving something back to the charities and communities that help people find hope when they need it most.

We're raising vital funds and awareness for charities that support mental health and wellbeing, causes that are deeply personal to us and close to our hearts.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many people, we've already raised more than £3,000 before we've even taken our first step. Every donation, every message and every word of encouragement reminds us that this journey belongs to all of us. We'll be carrying your kindness with us every mile of the way.

Country music has been the thread that brought us together and gave life to this journey, through its honesty, its storytelling and its remarkable ability to hold both heartbreak and hope in the same breath.

Finishing our walk at the Luke Combs concert feels like the perfect ending, not because the journey is over, but because it's a reminder that even the hardest roads can still lead us back to joy, to one another, and to moments we'll never forget.

Every mile we walk is for those who are struggling in silence, for those still finding the courage to ask for help, and for everyone who gives their time, compassion and care to support others. Above all, we hope this journey reminds anyone who needs to hear it that they are never alone.

If our journey resonates with you, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether you choose to donate, share our page or simply cheer us on from afar, you'll be helping us turn every step into hope.

You can read more about the charities we're supporting by clicking on their logos below. Every donation will be shared equally between them, and if you're able to, please consider adding Gift Aid, as it makes an enormous difference at no extra cost to you.
