Mollie walks to Suffolk!

Many of you will know that, in March 2025, my mum Diane was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This cruel disease often leaves people unable to walk, talk or eat. My mum is being supported by the MND Association and Saint Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.

While I can't do anything about my mum's diagnosis, I am hoping to raise both money and awareness for the MND Association and Saint Elizabeth hospice.

From 27th - 30th March, I am going to be walking from central Cambridge, near to where I live, to my parents' home in Framlingham - this means walking 103 miles over the course of 4 days (and more miles if I get lost!). The route will take in places that mean something to my parents - I will go via Sudbury, where they first met, Trimley St Mary, where we lived for most of my childhood, and finally to Framlingham, our home.

I will publish the route in advance and post about my progress on social media!! Do let me know if you fancy joining for part of the walk.
