Hello, we are the management training cohort from Coles Nurseries - Ed Coles, Izzie Coles, Laura Dakin, Luke Hopper & Tom Tyler - otherwise known as 'The Fantastic Five'!
To demonstrate the skills and knowledge we have learnt during our course, we have been set the task to raise £10,000 for our Company's chosen charities: Perennial & The Matt Hampson Foundation, by organising event(s) of our own choosing.
Over the coming months, we have decided to do this by organising several 'Mini Events', including a 24 hour run and a Charity Golf Day, before we head off to Morocco in November to take part in our 'Big Event' - a 4 day trek across the Sahara Desert!
Coles Nurseries holds both Perennial and The Matt Hampson Foundation close to our hearts. Perennial is the UK’s only charity who support all those working within and retired from the horticultural industry. They provide free and confidential support/advice through their helpline, covering a wide range of topics, from health & wellbeing, to bereavement and financial support.The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports people living with serious injuries through expert physiotherapy, specialised training programs, support, mentoring and advice - their aim is to help people with life-changing injuries to 'get busy living' again.
'The Fantastic Five' are hoping to smash their target and be able to give back to these two incredibly important charities.Any donation, no matter the size, is important and greatly appreciated. Please keep checking back into our page for updates on how our events are going!
