Fundraising headshave for women's health, pregnancy, children and new parents 💇🏼♀️

At the start of my pregnancy, I decided I would use the time to grow my hair long and donate it to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides free, real-hair wigs to children and young people up to the age of 24 who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
During pregnancy, hair is fabled to grow quickly and become thick and luscious (the reality is simply that some people shed less hair, so it feels thicker). I was overly optimistic that mine would reach the required length after nine months. Fast-forward almost three years, and it’s finally there. To give the charity as much hair as possible, we’re going to cut it close to the scalp and shave the rest off.
This needs a bit of encouragement — please give what you can. Thank you.
From women’s health, to pregnancy, birth and the journey of new parents, I want to raise money for the following incredible charities:
The Eve Appeal
The UK’s leading gynae cancer charity.
It is vitally important to attend your screening tests.
PANDAS
Supporting the emotional and psychological wellbeing of parents from conception, through pregnancy, and up to a child’s first birthday.
Tommy’s
For my beautiful niece, Mabel 💛
And for all babies born sleeping x
War Child
For the absolutely vile and unjustifiable murder of children in conflicts, and the unimaginable trauma survivors are left with.
Two more charities you should know about:
• AIMS – Campaigning for better births
• Fathers Network Scotland – Improving children’s lives and outcomes through the positive involvement of dads, father-figures and whole families.
The head shave will be on Dec 31st (!) but the page will remain open until mid March.
Greateful for any suport. Thank you x
