Miles for Hearts United

On Tuesday 23rd of December Jacob Ostle is going to try and complete the courageous goal of running a marathon from Tim Hortons (penrith) at 10:30 am to Carlisle Castle alongside Oliver Nicholson and Theo Winstanley in order to raise awareness for the fantastic charity of Hearts United ran by Donna Mills

Hearts United is a community interest company dedicated to improving heart health and saving lives. We provide free heart screenings to detect hidden conditions, CPR and defibrillator training to equip people with lifesaving skills, and wellbeing activities to help our community stay healthy and active.

Every week, 12 young people in the UK die suddenly from undiagnosed heart conditions, and out-of-hospital cardiac arrests have a survival rate of less than 1 in 10 without immediate CPR. By funding our work, you’re helping to:
• Identify people at risk through heart screenings
• Train members of the community in CPR and AED use
• Promote heart health through wellbeing initiatives
