Let's help cure Myeloma — Celebrating my Bar Mitzvah with Prayers for Healing

Hi, I’m David Green and I’m in my Bar Mitzvah year.

Many of you know that my mum, Jane, was recently diagnosed with a blood cancer called myeloma. This has been a big learning curve (AKA challenge!) for our family, but we have been so lucky to be surrounded by amazing love and support from YOU – our wonderful community – and from two incredible charities: Myeloma UK and Chai Cancer Care.

In honour of my mum’s complete healing and to celebrate my Bar Mitzvah, I want to raise money to help these charities. I want to help raise awareness of this rare cancer, which can be hard to spot, and to help them keep doing their important work.

Myeloma UK helps fund research and works with the NHS to make sure patients get the latest treatments. Thank G-d, my mum is receiving really good care, and we are very grateful.

Every year, cancer care gets better, and with your help we can make this journey kinder and less scary for other families too.
