Well, I've decided to take on another running challenge after completing the Balmoral 10k in April but this time doing a very unique event and also doing it for charity!!! Fortunately I'll have company with my friend Rick Long also running in the event.
Aberdeen Runway Run is a unique midnight run on the runway of Aberdeen International Airport and is returning after a two year absence due to the pandemic which takes place on the 24th June.
With a course like no other, runners take on the 4km Runway Run which will also benefit a number of charities. Once again, CHC Helicopters and Aberdeen International Airport will partner up to bring the run to the Dyce terminal for a fourth year.
Over 3 years they have had almost 1000 participants signed up and took part in the event on the lit up runway and raised over £120,000.
