Op Ruby Jack

This is a trip of 126 miles and 43 locks, along the River Thames, from Lechlade (Glos..) to Teddington Lock (Middlesex), using a swan pedalo.
Raising funds and awareness of the RNLI and Combat Stress while celebrating my 60th birthday and 40-year Naval birthday, although slightly belated.
Originally planned for my 55th birthday, unfortunately ‘lock-down’ uncertainty prevented effective planning while simultaneously increasing the need for funds for charities.
Combat Stress and the RNLI need public support more than ever.
This isn't just a fundraiser; it’s a reminder that the spirit of service evolves, not expires.
The mission is no longer just a paddle. It’s a testament to endurance — of plans delayed but not abandoned, of causes carried forward, and a refusal to let ceremony and comedy go adrift.
