Changing Lives is a national, charity which provides specialist support services to vulnerable people and their families. Our key themes of work include: housing & homelessness, drug & alcohol, women & children's and employment services. Our mission is 'changing lives, building futures'.

Chapter One

At Chapter One, we want to create a world where all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive, so we provide one to one reading support at the time they need it most. Charis Cancer Care

Charis Cancer Care works in conjunction with clinical treatments for cancer and our staff offer our clients every form of support that is possible. Our role is to listen and help, in a warm and nurturing environment, with support from experienced professionals and therapists. We have registered over 12600 people since we opened 14 years ago, with demand increasing from month to month.

Charity for Kids

Charity for Kids was established in 2011 to provide help for disabled, sick and terminally ill children – and their families – across Hastings & Rother. We help children and their families with specialised equipment that is either not available via the health services or comes with a very high costs, which is not always possible

We are focused on relieving poverty, malnutrition, and hunger worldwide by providing meals, clean water, and food items to vulnerable individuals. Their mission is to provide nutritious, reliable meals to children, families, orphans, and the elderly, ensuring no one goes hungry, with operations in over 20 countries

Charlie's Beach Hut

Charlie’s, is a beach hut style caravan at Perran Sands in Perranporth which aims to provide families of children with life limiting illnesses and families of fire-fighters that have suffered bereavement, or life changing injury whilst in the line of duty, a relaxing environment so they can forge some forever memories, in a hope that they too can ‘Find the Wonderful in Today’.

Charlie's Promise is dedicated to helping the fight against the rising issue of knife crime in Surrey and across the UK. Using our own real life experience, we educate young people on the immeasurable impact knife crime has on the victim’s family and friends, and the wider communities.

Charlton Athletic Community Trust

We are the charitable arm of Charlton Athletic, working to improve the physical and mental health, improve the education and employment opportunities, and reduce crime across South East London and Kent.

Chasing Rainbows

Chasing Rainbows aims to make people feel comfortable talking about pregnancy and baby loss. Miscarriage is a taboo subject that is often avoided, we aim to encourage people to feel less alone and to support their mental health through peer support experiences.

Chattertots

Chattertots set up by group of parents in 2015 and in 2022 became a registered charity (1198362). Provide a range of early interventions including weekly speech and language therapy, biannual school visits and consultancy, go to school boxes with bespoke resources, summer camps and social events. Presently support approximately 35 families and rely entirely on fundraising.

We help autistic people and people with learning disabilities to build skills, confidence and meaningful connections. Our programmes include life skills, accredited training, supported work experience and wellbeing activities in Perth and Kinross and beyond.

Cheltenham Animal Shelter

Based in the heart of Gloucestershire, we rescue and re-home hundreds of unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs and small animals every year at a cost of around £900,000. Thanks to the generosity of the public we can continue to look after the animals in our care.
