Children Not Numbers is dedicated to improving the lives of children in Gaza through a comprehensive approach to health, safety, education, and rehabilitation. Composed of medics, lawyers, mental health professionals, and volunteers from around the globe, we work tirelessly to address the unique needs of these young individuals and support their growth and well-being in the face of extreme hardship
Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we’ve already accomplished so much:
- Provided some 600 children with urgent aid and care
- Distributed over £200,000 worth of food baskets to children and their families
- Evacuated 250 children and their companions to safety
- Established a maternity programme supporting over 320 expectant mothers
- Launched a Retinopathy of Prematurity programme, providing essential care and treatment to safeguard the vision of vulnerable infants
- Set up two medical hubs to deliver ongoing care
- Launched an orphan support programme
- Provided over £25,000 in emergency shelter funding
- Built a team of 30 experts who triage cases, facilitate medevacs, and mentor junior medics on the ground
