Step by Step supports young people, aged 16-25, facing homelessness across, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset.
The young people supported by Step by Step have multiple, complex needs and vulnerabilities, including drug/alcohol abuse, offending, learning difficulties, mental health issues, family breakdown, poor education attainment.
We know that just providing a roof over their heads is not enough to break the homelessness cycle. As well as accommodation and support, we add a wealth of wellbeing services, tailored to a young person’s needs, wants, talents and aspirations, building a path to lasting stability and independence.
Our work is transformative, helping young people to become thriving members of the community.
