Alder Hey Children’s Charity is an independent charity which supports Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust to make a difference for the 450,000 children and young people who use the hospital’s services every single year. Since 2013, over £82 million has been raised to support patients and their families through our fundraising pillars of Equipment, Research, Innovation and Education, Campus and Community, Alder Hey Magic and Advocacy. We work to create brighter futures for children and young people guided by our values of Passion, Together, Courage and Magic.
Every penny raised for Alder Hey Children’s Charity makes a huge difference to making the hospital experience the best it can be for children, young people and their families. This includes investing in state-of-the-art equipment, vital research into rare diseases, improving our worldclass healthcare campus, advocating to put children first in all government policy to end child health inequality in the UK, and providing magical experiences to change the experience of children in hospital.
