York Active Youth has twin aimsWe encourage activity for Young People by operating a minibus with driver service for groups that provide services for young people. That includes scouts. youth related charities and schoolsWe also run an "Open Award Group" in York for Young people that want to participate as individuals in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.
We are a young and growing charity.We aim to promote our services within the area in and around York so that more young people have the opportunity to be an active member of society.
This could provide a short minibus journey for up to 16 Young People
This could buy a rucksack which could be lent to a Young Person doing a DofE expedition
This could pay for one safety check that each minibus has to do every 10 weeks.
