Your Impact

Unfortunately, homelessness is rising. We see the effects of the housing crisis and cost-of-living every day. In fact, last year between April and September, we received over 10,000 phone calls... That's thousands of our community members, neighbours, friends and colleagues reaching out for help.
Through our Drop-Ins and phoneline, we are ensuring that support is available for as many local people as possible in an accessible way, regardless of their situation.

In 2023-24, we received over 5600 referrals to our services. Not simply from those sleeping rough, but from families living in disrepair, households on the brink of homelessness due to eviction or debt, elderly community members struggling to heat their homes, and so many more...
Thankfully, our team are dedicated to changing lives: last year, we were able to prevent or relieve homelessness for 88% of clients, and housing conditions were improved for 95%!
But our impact runs deeper than that, because we understand that housing crisis does not simply end with a roof and a bed.
Last year:
- 100% improved their financial circumstances and felt more confident,
- Over 97% improved their mental and physical health
- Over 94% improved were making more positive life choices and felt more independent
- 67% consumed less substances
- 75% reduced their involvement in anti-social behaviour
- 93% stated their confidence and communication skills improved
- 99% knew of other services available to help them
