Our Mission TodayRuddi's Retreat has been helping families all over the UK for twelve years now and we really do make a difference! Our 5 caravans have served over 4000 families since the charity began and we intend to continue for many, many more years.
We continue to evolve and grow while staying true to our core mission and believe in creating environments where healing happens naturally, where community flourishes, and where every individual story matters. Our retreats in Filey and Blackpool stand as testaments to the power of purposeful spaces and supportive communities.
The best bit… Although not unscathed, Ruddi is thriving! He is studying musical theatre at college and is signed to an inclusive modelling agency. He works part time in his namesake café ‘Ruddi’s’ in Slaithwaite where he makes the best milkshakes in Yorkshire and loves to tell our story to all of the locals. If you’re passing by, why not come and visit us sometime, we make good cakes!
