We provide care and support for babies, children and young people with serious and terminal conditions, and their whole family, across the East Midlands. The care we offer is wide ranging; palliative care and end of life care, symptom management, emergency care, respite and short breaks and is available in the Hospice, at home and in hospitals.

Rainbows cares for hundreds of families every year who have a baby, child or young person with a serious or terminal illness that means that their lives will be shorter than most.
We support every baby, child and young person to fulfil their potential, and help families make the most of every precious moment, while capturing memories and keepsakes to treasure.
As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.
One hours care by a care team member
Our hydrotherapy pool can be used for a range of purposes, including therapy sessions with our physiotherapists, relaxing sessions and sessions which are aimed at fun for the whole family. This gift is enough to help pay for a session in the pool for our babies, children, young people and families
Music therapy helps our babies, children and young people express themselves. This can be so valuable for those with communication difficulties or those who cannot put their feelings into words. This gift can help provide a child or young person with individual time with our Music Therapist.
