The Nightingale Macmillan Unit is based within the Royal Derby Hospital. The unit is a 20-bedded specialist palliative care unit which provides care to patients with advanced progressive and life limiting illness. This includes patients with cancer and non malignant diseases such as motor neurone disease and end stage organ failure.
