The National Brain Appeal (formerly known as The National Hospital Development Foundation) is the charity dedicated to raising vital funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.

Our vision is to improve the outcome and quality of life for the one in six affected by a neurological condition. We do this by funding pioneering research, providing access to the best technology for expert diagnosis and treatment, and training tomorrow’s clinicians.

We are proud to be a member of The Neurological Alliance. We share the same aim − wanting to transform outcomes for people with a neurological condition. The Neurological Alliance provides a vaulable insight into the lived experiences of people with neuro conditions, and acts a collective voice for UK neuro charities to effect a change in policies that benefit those affected.

Your Impact

With your help, the team at Queen Square are leading the way in finding new treatments and improving patient care and outcomes for the 14.7m people in the UK who are affected by a neurological or neuromuscular condition.
