Justice & Care is a multi-award winning charity fighting modern slavery. Our purpose is clear, we join forces to end this crime. We work in three strategic locations – Bangladesh, Romania and the UK. In each we seek to protect vulnerable communities and individuals from trafficking and through long-term specialist aftercare help survivors rebuild their lives. Our teams work closely with police and the criminal justice system to support survivors to give evidence and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
We base all our frontline work on research in order to find the most effective interventions, which are always locally designed and led. We do so with replication in mind – knowing that success is found in finding models that can be scaled. We use evidence-based approaches, drawing from our frontline learning, to then help governments and others respond to the issue at scale through policy and system change.
