About Firefly International

Firefly transforms the lives of children affected by war by providing adaptable, trauma-informed education where it's needed most. We support Syrian refugees on the move, help Gazan children heal from trauma and empower Bosnian youth to build peaceful communities. In the face of ongoing conflict and displacement, Firefly must reach the thousands more children who need us. Together, we can make lasting change for children affected by war.

Your Impact

Firefly helps around 2,500 children a month in Syria, Turkey, Bosnia and Cairo. We fill critical gaps in children's education and community environments, adapting our programmes to children's needs. In Syria we have expanded our programme into teacher training, training around 60 female teachers a year greatly increasing our reach and impact among children.
