Eden Valley Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing specialist care for adults in north Cumbria who have life limiting conditions. In addition, we also provide care for their families, friends and carers. All the care the hospice provides to its patients and their families is free at the point of delivery.
At Eden Valley Hospice, we provide care for adults with life-limiting illnesses, such as cancer, from north Cumbria, as well as extending this care to families, friends and loved ones.
The hospice is best known in the community for providing end-of-life care in the adult in-patient unit; however, we also care for a significant number of patients by helping them to manage their symptoms before they move on to another care setting or home.
In Jigsaw, we provide day-to-day care, support, and activities to children and young people living with a life-limiting illness. Our care is provided in a home from home setting and each young person’s care is personalised towards their own needs.
Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria's only Children's Hospice, is a very special place at the heart of the local community, dedicated to helping children and adults with life-limiting illnesses whenever they need it. We strive to provide the highest standards of care to our patients and their families 24 hours a day, and it is thanks to support like yours that we are able to do this.
