While we have achieved a phenomenal amount thanks to the backing of our donors, this doesn’t mean we can be complacent with our achievements. We always have plans in the pipeline to further improve our services. We have big goals and ambitions for the future, and all of these require your support.
We are one of the largest hospital charities in the UK with 82p in every pound raised going directly to the patients.
The Christie Charity only exists because of all our fantastic support from all our amazing fundraisers. And whether it is giving your time, treasure and talent, we really do value everything you do. In return, we promise to ensure that all donations are spent as wisely and cost effectively as possible.
When everything else is changing, The Christie continues to provide the same world-class cancer care. By donating, you can make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to our patients and their families.
The Christie Charity raises money for a wide range of projects and initiatives within the hospital.
Donations from our supporters mean we can provide enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. This includes continuous funding for a number of services throughout the hospital including the cancer information centre, wig fitting service, art room and complementary therapy.
We are also raising money for major developments including our campaign to bring blood testing closer to home.
