At Children Today we are proud to help change the lives of children and young people with disabilities across the UK every day and we now need your help more than ever.
Children Today is a small charity which helps children and young people (from 0-25 years old) who are living with disabilities, across the UK, to access vital support, services and grants that allow them to access adapted equipment.This equipment is often unavailable on the NHS but can have a tremendous impact on the mental and physical wellbeing of a child or young person with disabilities.The types of equipment that we help our service-users to access includes trikes, adapted buggies, tough furniture, sensory equipment such as bubble tubes and powered wheelchairs- to name a few!By providing these types of equipment, we can help children and young people to participate in many of the experiences that we take for granted, from being able to join siblings on a bike ride, sit at the dinner table to enjoy a meal, go on a day trip or holiday or even just get a good night's sleep for the first time!
