About ChemoHero

Tags: Cancer Health & Medical

ChemoHero is a North Devon charity gifting Boxes of Kindness to adults starting chemotherapy or other anti-cancer drug treatments, each one packed with practical items and thoughtful treats to make hospital visits that little bit easier. Most boxes are given to patients at the Seamoor Unit in Barnstaple, but we’re also able to gift a small number by request each month to people across the UK.

Inspired by our founder, Lisa Wallis, who knew first-hand how daunting cancer treatment can feel, we’re here to bring comfort and kindness when people need it most. Alongside our boxes, we fund a dedicated cancer care counsellor and run a Treat Trolley on the ward, providing extra smiles and surprises for patients during their treatment.
