Charity Link helps individuals and families in desperate need across Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to have the essential items we all deserve for a decent standard of living.

Charity Link works to ensure that people in financial hardship are dry, warm, clean, safe and fed. We improve wellbeing, dignity, and standards of living by providing essential items, such as clothing (including school uniforms), beds, white goods, and - in emergencies - help with food and utilities.

We work with 250 charities and community organisations, in order to get help to those who need it, when they need it.

And our innovative way of working – unlocking funds from charitable trusts – means we make your money work harder. For every £10 you donate, we provide £50 of essential items to individuals and families in need. Together we can make a massive difference.

Your Impact

Through the provision of essential items, that many of us are lucky enough to take for granted, our support helps change lives. We help improve wellbeing, standards of living and financial resilience.

We know that our help reduces stress anxiety, improves self-esteem and confidence in the future, and help make the people we support make their home liveable.

For the people and children we support, these essential items are life-changing.

Last year we helped over 6,000 people and children and provided over 5,500 essential items.
