The Benedetti Foundation was established in 2019 by inspirational Scottish violinist and dedicated music education advocate Nicola Benedetti CBE. Led by Nicola and a tutor team comprising exceptional educators and performers from across the globe, we deliver transformative experiences through mass music education and unite those who believe music is integral to life’s education.

We aim to ensure equal access to music participation and appreciation for all, targeting areas of the UK where high-quality music education experiences are often restricted and under-resourced due to geographical or financial barriers.

With exceptionally strong networks and partnerships, including all Music Services/Hubs and a network of teachers, in our first five years we reached over 100,000 people (live and online) in every part of the UK and across 137 countries through our Residencies, Benedetti Sessions, Ambassador and Youth Ambassador Programmes, as well as Virtual Sessions. Our free online educational video resources have had over 6.6 million views.

Your Impact

In our first five years, we have worked with over 100,000 people aged 2-92, instrumentalists and non-instrumentalists alike across 137 countries and every region of the UK. We are passionately committed to enriching the UK’s education networks and communities.
