We work to prevent homelessness and hospital admissions by addressing the root causes of crisis through a public health lens.

What started over 50 years ago as a soup kitchen run by student volunteers, has grown into a vital service tackling homelessness, poverty, addiction and exclusion in the north-east of Scotland.

We know that tough times can happen to anyone. That’s why we take a person-first approach, meeting people where they are, and providing practical, tailored support to help them move forward.

Our work isn’t just about providing services, it’s about driving change. We challenge the stigma around homelessness and vulnerability, pushing for better policies and more effective solutions. Innovation has always been at the core of what we do, and we continue to adapt to meet the needs of our community.

We work closely with other organisations and use our combined skills and experience to raise aware about the issues people face, and support people in making lasting, positive changes in their lives.

Your Impact

Too many in the north-east older people, young adults, families, and people living alone, are facing the same pressures: rising costs, cold homes, and the loneliness that comes when crisis takes hold. Your gift today can bring warmth, safety, and hope, and help someone to rewrite their story.

Impacts shown are indicative and represent how your donations help support our work overall. Funds are used where the need is greatest.
