Jewish Care is the largest health and social care charity serving the UK Jewish community in London and the South-East. Together with our 1,200 staff members, our 3,500 volunteers, and our dedicated Trustees and lay leaders lending their time and expertise, we run ten care homes, three Retirement Living Schemes, ten Community Centres including our Connect@ services, three Dementia Day Centres and many support services and groups, which touch the lives of over 10,000 people every week.

Services at Jewish Care are based on firm partnerships between those who use our services, those who provide them (our staff and volunteers) and those who support these services financially through donations.
To ensure we provide services that meet the cultural, health and social care needs of the whole Jewish community, we need to be in constant dialogue with local community and cultural groups and their leaders.
To this end, we have strong associations with synagogues, welfare groups and youth and educational bodies. Through our relationships with them, we hope to help them understand what Jewish Care can offer and how we provide our services.
Every year synagogues and community groups support the work of Jewish Care in a variety of ways. We could not exist without this support. We produce a community appeal to give people an insight into our services and an opportunity to donate and support our work.
