SLO is a registered charity dedicated to bringing free, high-quality performances to audiences across London. Run by a voluntary committee, we receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of our supporters to thrive. Your support enables us to rehearse, perform, and grow—reaching diverse audiences in accessible venues and championing bold, contemporary repertoire. It also helps us nurture emerging talent and expand our community outreach, ensuring that inclusive music-making continues to flourish throughout the city.
We are excited to announce the launch of our fundraising campaign for our 2025/26 season! The year begins with a spectacular Diwali concert at the V&A Museum, featuring the global premiere of new works by South Asian global majority composers including Shruti Rajasekar, alongside music by Mayer, Paintal, and beloved Bollywood classics.
This will be followed by our much-loved Christmas pop-up concert, where festive passers-by will have the unique opportunity to step up and conduct the orchestra as we play Christmas classics in North London!
In Spring 2026, we will be partnering with an inspiring cause to deliver a musical-themed educational concert exploring a critical health condition affecting many Britons — with more details to be revealed soon. Then for summer we will go on a weekend tour to a brand new UK location — full details to be released in Spring 2026.
