Hello all!
I’m running the London Marathon in April—an absolutely terrifying thought, but one that will be all the more rewarding knowing that I’m doing it to raise money for two incredible charities that mean so much to me.
Samaritans — as most of you know, I work for Samaritans so I see first-hand every day how vital and impactful their work is. Samaritans is there 24/7 for anyone struggling to cope with no judgment, just someone to listen when you need it most. Simply: they save lives.
The Lantern Community — the Lantern is a wonderful residential community for adults with learning disabilities where one of the best people in the world, my little brother Zee, lives. Their ethos is all about creating a place where people can live with purpose, creativity, and dignity and Zee has absolutely thrived there for the past near decade. We are so grateful to them for everything they do for the learning disabilities community so this one means a lot to me (and if you’re ever in the New Forest go and visit them - their gift shop and cafe are amazing). You can learn more about them here: https://www.lanterncommunity.org.uk/
If you can spare a few pennies, I’d be massively grateful. Your donation will help keep phone lines open, support the most special of communities, and might also help drag me over the finish line.
Thanks so much 💚💛
