During the month of April, I did an amazing walk in Italy with Alessandra. We walked from the Vatican, over the Appenine Mountains, to the East Coast - 350kms in total, with 8500m of climbing. Alessandra is 19 years old, and has Down’s Syndrome. She trained for 6 months for this journey.
Next up is Simone (age 12) - We will be climbing Kilimanjaro Mountain in early August. Aside from simply climbing a large mountain, the altitude is our biggest fear. We also aren’t looking forward to the very early morning start (3am) to make it to the summit, but undoubtedly it will be worth it.
While we will be raising money for 4 worthy causes, this page is fund raising for only one of those:
Hope Valley School, South Africa https://hopevalleyschool.org/A rural primary school based in South Africa, providing an education to a community of farm labourers’ children.
If you would prefer to donate to the 4 causes, please visit this page:https://www.givewheel.com/fundraising/6105/paul-with-alessandra-simone/
