Tuesday, 4th February 2024 was World Cancer Day.
With so many different types of cancer, it is inevitable we will all have our lives impacted by it in some way. Reputedly, one in two people will be diagnosed with cancer at some stage of their life.
Cancer Research UK is the only cancer charity that funds research into all types of cancer and has been doing so for the last 120 years.
Macmillan Cancer Support help individuals and their loved ones come to terms with a cancer diagnosis, supporting them all whether it be physically, emotionally or financially.
To mark World Cancer Day and in recognition of the great work these 2 charities do in the UK, my colleague, Leah Hayes-Kowalczyk and I are organising a Charity Gala Night to be held on 9th May, where all proceeds will be split equally between both causes.
Part of the evening is a live auction - This page is to supplement that, with an opportunity for you to purchase one or more items via this 'silent auction' page and have the proceeds go to the totals raised on the night!
Thank you for your support.
Event Instructions
When bidding, you can choose to enter your details at the point of bid entry or create/sign into your account to have them auto-populate each time.
If you are successful with your bid, you will be emailed an invoice to pay for your item after the auction closes.
If you leave earlier in the evening and continue to bid in the silent auction, arrangements will be made for you to receive your chosen item/s directly.
Do not make a bid in the silent auctions if you cannot pay that amount.
