Exploring Duo - Rowing for Wishes - 3,000 Miles Across the Atlantic Ocean

🌊 ROWING FOR WISHES: A 3,000-MILE ROW ACROSS THE ATLANTIC 🌊

Hi! We're Lottie and Ethan — a couple united by our love for adventure and the outdoors. In December 2026, we're taking on the World’s Toughest Row: a 3,000-mile, unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean. Just the two of us, a 7-metre boat, no stops, no support, and one shared mission — to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.

For 45–60 days, we’ll row 12–16 hours a day, battling waves, exhaustion, and everything the ocean throws at us — all while living on ration packs, sleeping in tiny cabins, and using a bucket as a loo. Why? Because we believe in adventure with purpose — and helping children with critical illnesses experience something magical.

We’re doing this not just for the adventure, but to raise as much money as possible for charity.

Making it happen – how we’re getting to the start line
Originally, we thought we'd have to buy a boat, which would cost over £120,000. Instead, we’ve decided to rent a boat for £40,000 — massively reducing our costs and allowing us to focus on fundraising and our charity efforts much sooner.

If we are fortunate enough to secure donors or sponsors who can help us purchase a boat outright, then we absolutely will. And if we do buy the boat, once we complete the race, we'll sell it — with all proceeds going directly to Make-A-Wish UK.

Either way, our goal remains the same: to maximise the impact we can make for the children and families Make-A-Wish supports.

Inspired by the random waves that tend to soak rowers just as they are about to finish a shift. This is for individuals who want to join our journey in a big way. You’ll get:

🐬 The Pod Club– £250 (for Individuals & small businesses)
Named after pods of dolphins that travel together across oceans – this is for small businesses that want to support and be part of something epic. You’ll get:

- For individuals: your name or family name on the roof of our cabin
- For Business: your logo on the roof of our cabin
- A feature on our website with a shout-out about your support
- A limited edition t-shirt with your name on it
- Recognition on our social media channels

🐠 The Blue Marlin Club - £500
Ironically named after the fish that ocean rowers fear most!

- You’ll receive all the benefits of the Rogue Wave & Pod Club plus:
- Your donation will go towards a specific item — so you can say "I gave them that!"
- 2x tickets to attend UK send off drinks

🐋 The Orca Club - £1,000 - LIMITED TIME
*only available until December 2025*
- Same as Blue Marlin
- One or both of the team will attend to do a talk with your local school, club, community or like.

Your money is not wasted
It’s what gets us to the start line. And after the row, everything we can sell (if we end up buying a boat) will go straight to Make-A-Wish UK — potentially raising tens of thousands more for the cause.
