ROWING THE ATLANTIC: A 3,000-MILE CHALLENGE - TWO PEOPLE, ONE BOAT
We’re Lottie and Ethan. In December 2026, we’ll take on the World’s Toughest Row: a 3,000-mile, unsupported crossing of the Atlantic from the Canary Islands to Antigua.
No sails. No engine. No support.Just two people, a 7-metre boat, and around 1.5 million oar strokes.
For 45–60 days we’ll row 12–16 hours a day, battling waves, exhaustion and sleep deprivation, living on ration packs and sleeping in tiny cabins. We’re doing this to push limits, chase adventure and share a story of resilience.
How you can helpGetting to the start line is the hardest part. Race fees, training, safety equipment and food quickly add up and every contribution helps, whether £1 or £250

Why it mattersOur boat is called Pacemaker for a reason. We’re rowing to support two life-saving causes:
British Heart Foundation – funding vital research, defibrillators and treatments that save lives every day.
Calder Valley Search & Rescue – volunteer responders saving lives across West Yorkshire, funded entirely by donations. Ethan is a Volunteer here.
By supporting our row, you’re helping save lives on land while we take on the Atlantic.
Join us and be part of something extraordinary and help make history as the youngest couple to row the Atlantic.
