Nai's House is a local charity raising funds for youth suicide prevention, and Beyond Carbon has supported them as a charity partner since 2024.
At the end of June, we'll be walking from our Bicester office to the home of our director Joel in the Cotswolds, covering a total distance of 40 miles over 2 days (27th and 28th June). Five of us will be taking part on the first day, with three more joining on the second day.

About Nai’s House
Nai’s House CIO is a small charity in Bicester, Oxfordshire, focused on improving the mental health and wellbeing of teenagers and young adults, especially in suicide prevention. Founded by Gem Barrett in 2019 after her daughter Dené's tragic suicide, Nai’s House offers tailored, confidential support in a non-clinical setting. Services include 1-to-1 support, group workshops and suicide bereavement support.
With a team of 22 frontline staff and volunteers, Nai’s House operates five days a week, providing vital mental health support. The charity also raises community awareness about suicide prevention through outreach and training activities. Nai’s House has supported over 300 young people and continues to expand its impact.

Nai’s House is a blended youth and wellbeing service that offers a new way to access and receive mental health support. Our approach is non-clinical and it has been developed from the view point of the service user. It is backed by research and incorporates many of the ideals that youth consultations and agencies have highlighted a need for.
