Please donate to our 2025 fundraiser in memory of Harry Lownds.
On the weekend of 3-4 May Becky Lownds, Martin Allen, Neil Allen, Izzy Allen, Manon Allen and Charlie Hicks supported by Evie Lownds, Margaret Allen and Matt Lownds will be taking part in the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge.
Together they intend to walk 475km around the island to raise money for the scholarship fund established in Harry's memory (www.harrylownds.org) and for Sepsis Research FEAT (www.sepsisresearch.org.uk)

Harry had a particular interest in potential therapeutic applications of modern genetic techniques and hoped to go on to earn a PhD and undertake research into the interplay between genomic disorders and mental health. His family hope that this scholarship will assist someone with similar interests to pursue their academic dreams in ways that will in time benefit wider society.
