St Nick's Three Peaks Challenge

The staff at St Nicholas Catholic High School have decided to challenge ourselves and complete the Three Peaks Challenge on 20th June 2025.

Cancer is something that affects us all and as a school community we have people close by who are living with cancer.

Therefore we are putting on our walking boots to make sure we raise as much money as we can.

Thanks for supporting our fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

The Christie, located in Withington, Manchester, is the largest single-site comprehensive cancer centre in Europe, treating over 60,000 patients annually and serving a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester and Cheshire. They provide specialist surgery, integrated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and hematology services, including rare conditions designated for cancer centre care. They emphasize patient-centred care, with a focus on providing the best possible experience for patients, relatives, carers, and staff. 

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is a major cancer treatment and research centre, with three specialist cancer centres in Liverpool city centre, Wirral and Aintree. They have a community service, "Clatterbridge in the Community," which brings cancer treatments to patients in their homes or workplaces. They are the only facility in the UK providing low-energy proton beam therapy to treat rare cancers and host the region's Teenage and Young Adult Unit. 

All donations will be equally split between the charities.
