Team Winchesters raising money for Abernecessities & Friends of Anchor

As a local business, Winchesters are keen to support the local community where they can. As well as donating to local charities, we are keen to work as a team to take on challenges and raise money for 2 great local charities, Abernecessities & Friends of Anchor.

AberNecessities provides disadvantaged families with the essential and basic necessities that No Child Should Go Without. From maternity bundles for mother and baby to nappies, formula milk, clothing, toys and equipment for children aged 0-18 years, AberNecessities recognises the importance of meeting the basic needs of a child in order to give them the best start possible.

Friends of ANCHOR has delivered direct support to ANCHOR patients and staff since 1997. The ANCHOR Unit (Aberdeen and North Centre for Haematology, Oncology and Radiotherapy) is a collective of specialised wards and clinics within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. It is the central hub of cancer and haematology care for the north of Scotland.

We hope you agree that these are 2 amazing causes, and that you will help us support the amazing work these people do with whatever you are able to give. You will get the choice to pick which of the charities you want to donate to, please try to keep things even!!

Our first challenge will be Kiltwalk on June 1st, so please dig deep and make the pain and worn out shoes worth it!!
