On Saturday 21st June, I'll be joining 99 other riders to take on a 100-mile cycling challenge, aiming to raise a combined £100,000 for five incredible Leicestershire charities:
💙 Menphys - Supporting children with disabilities
💛 Lamp - Providing vital mental health support
❤️ The Warning Zone - Teaching young people about life’s dangers
💚 Charity Link - Helping local people in crisis
💜 The Bridge - Preventing and relieving homelessness
These charities deliver life-changing work, supporting people across Leicestershire when they need it most. For my family, Menphys' have been invaluable. As some of you know, our son George is Autistic, and the expert advice and understanding we've received from Menphys has made a huge difference in helping us to support him.
For over 50 years, Menphys has been a lifeline for children and young people with disabilities and their families—offering everything from special inclusive events to ensuring all children have a present at Christmas.
Taking on this 100-mile ride is no small feat for me. At the time of writing, I’ve only ever completed 12 rides on the road, and never more than 30 miles in one go! This is going to be a huge challenge, physically and mentally.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every donation, big or small, will spur me on - and, more importantly, help these amazing charities continue changing lives.
I hope to see many of you at the finish line for a well-earned pint! 🍻

🚴♂️ Do I have to ride the whole 100 miles? No, while we motivate our riders to get as far as possible through the course, you will be able to notify us of an early finish if the need arises, at one of our pit-stops.
🤔 How is the money split? GiveWheel allows all donations to be split evenly to the five charities selected.
👚 Will there be kit provided? You'll receive a t-shirt to ride in and keep forever, but each rider is responsible for their bike and the rest of their kit!
